About The Position
Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology (SVDR) is seeking a full-time remote Emergency Radiologist to support its growing practice. SVDR has served the Southern Illinois community for over 40 years, providing diagnostic services to 14 Illinois hospitals and affiliated clinics and express care centers. The role is 100% emergency radiology, with a 7-on/7-off schedule for 26 weeks per year. The shift is either 2 p.m.–11 p.m. CST or 3 p.m.–12 a.m. CST. There is no call. The radiologist must be capable of reading a broad range of diagnostic modalities; mammography, PET/CT, and other specialty reading are not required. The radiologist will work collaboratively with local referring physicians and be supported by SVDR’s internal 24/7 Results Communication Center (CORE), which coordinates care and clinical contact and helps reduce administrative tasks. SVDR reviews and develops its radiology services through clinical initiatives, research, artificial intelligence, and best practices. The position offers a salary range of $500,000–$525,000, with final compensation depending on factors such as education, experience, certifications, and geographic location. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Partnership is available upon the start date, subject to applicable terms and eligibility.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree.
- Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Ability to obtain Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri medical licenses.
- Capability to read various diagnostic modalities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in emergency radiology is preferred.
- Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology is preferred but not required.
