About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking an Emergency Physician for a hospital facility in South Carolina. This is a job opportunity for an MD/DO with a specialty in Emergency Medicine. The assignment is for 5 months with potential to extend, starting on 7/13/2026 and ending on 12/31/2026. Credentialing takes approximately 30 days. The work schedule includes 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a shifts. Specific dates for July and August are provided. The patient volume is approximately 13 patients per day, and procedures include Bread and Butter EM. The EMR system used is Epic. The physician must have an SC license and be certified in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS. Board certification (BE/BC) is required, specifically ABEM. Temporary privileges are available, and malpractice is not a concern. This is a single coverage position with no Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) and is at a smaller location. No new graduates will be considered.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree.
• Specialty in Emergency Medicine.
• SC license.
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC).
• ABEM certification required.
• Relevant experience in Emergency Medicine.
• No new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care as an MD/DO.
• Perform Bread and Butter EM procedures.
• Work within a single coverage model.
• Adhere to the specified work schedule, including nights and days in July and August.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system.
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 13 patients per day.
