About The Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Seattle, WA. This inpatient role involves providing clinical coverage for emergency medicine services. The physician will be responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients presenting with a broad spectrum of emergency conditions. Collaboration with attending physicians, effective patient handoffs, and participation in quality improvement initiatives are key aspects of this role. The position requires adherence to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Eligible
• Active WA License (not accepting IMLC)
• Active DEA certification required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA certifications
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience
• Emergency Medicine Fellowship required for physicians
• Clean background/malpractice history
• Must be available for listed dates
• Willing to work varied shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients.
• Work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions.
• Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams.
