About The Position
Riverside Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Riverside Doctor’s Hospital in Williamsburg, VA. Riverside Doctor's Hospital is a 70-million-dollar, state-of-the-art, 40-bed hospital with a 12-bed emergency department serving over 25,000 patients annually. The emergency department was the first in the state of Virginia to earn the American College of Emergency Physicians Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation for excellence in care of older adults in 2019 and the hospital is a DNV certified Primary Stroke Center. As part of the emergency medicine service line, you will work collaboratively with an experienced group of advanced practice providers and physicians to support a high acuity and diverse patient population with strong specialty support.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM or ABOEM Certification) in Emergency Medicine
- License to practice medicine and surgery in the Commonwealth of Virginia or ability to obtain a Virginia License
- Current DEA or ability to obtain a DEA
