About The Position
Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to fill a .8 FTE position at OSF St. Mary's Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois. OSF HealthCare has multiple Emergency Medicine locations across Illinois, offering a variety of settings from critical access hospitals to a Level 1 Trauma Center. You will be part of an experienced team of 60 physicians. OSF HealthCare is recognized as a top healthcare employer nationally and in Illinois.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree.
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients.
- Collaborate with an experienced team of physicians.
- Maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
