About The Position

The Staff Pad is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a PRN opportunity at a high-volume, well-supported hospital in Marion, Illinois. This role is ideal for physicians looking for premium compensation, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, resource-rich Emergency Department. The practice details include a team of 7 Emergency Medicine physicians supported by 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Day shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM with 1 physician and 1 APP, and Night shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM with 1 nocturnist physician and 1 APP. The Emergency Department sees approximately 55 patients per day, with about 11 daily admissions. There is a robust referral base including ED visits, direct admits, and regional transfers. Subspecialty support includes Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Colorectal Surgery, and more. Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
Physician must be comfortable working in a moderate to high-volume ED.
Physician must be comfortable with approximately 11 daily admissions.
Physician must be comfortable working with APP support.
Physician must be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment.
Physician must have strong clinical resources.
Physician must be able to work flexible PRN shifts.
Physician must have access to an integrated EPIC EMR system.

Provide emergency medical care as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician.
