About The Position

Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC, is seeking an experienced, board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to join its Emergency Medicine team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as a solo provider in a 22-bed Emergency Department with an average daily volume of 90-100 patients. The position requires a strong focus on providing outstanding and compassionate care. This is a nights-only or mixed days/nights position with a required schedule of 12-14 shifts per month, with shift times from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role offers a 1099 direct contract opportunity with strong Physician Assistant support, 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage, and access to a wide scope of hospital services including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology. The hospital also provides strong air and ground support for patient transfers. The location offers proximity to Raleigh and Wilmington, NC, and a family-friendly community with an affordable cost of living.

Requirements

• Experienced board-certified Emergency Medicine physician.
• Comfortable being the solo provider.
• MD required.
• No J1 or H1 visas accepted.

• Physician comfortable with a mixed days/nights schedule.
