About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Michigan City, IN. This role involves providing clinical coverage in a hospital setting, focusing solely on patient care within the Emergency Department. The position offers a flexible schedule and ongoing coverage starting October 1, 2026. The Emergency Department sees approximately 17,000 annual visits and is equipped with 15 beds. The physician will work alongside APC support and have access to dependable specialty backup. This is a clinical-only role with physician coverage 24 hours daily.
Requirements
- Active Indiana Medical License or Ability to Obtain
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
- Active DEA
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- MD or DO from an Accredited Medical School

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Emergency Department Patients
- Perform Emergency Procedures as Clinically Indicated
