About The Position

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Andalusia, AL. This is a clinical-only role in an outpatient setting, providing supplemental coverage. The average daily patient volume is 50. The Emergency Department has 10 beds, is a Level III Trauma Center, and utilizes the MEDHOST EMR system. The support staff includes 5 RNs and 1 PA/NP.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Licensed in Alabama (AL).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• ATLS certification.
• PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage in the Emergency Department.
• Manage an average daily patient volume of 50.
• Work within a 10-bed Emergency Department at a Level III Trauma Center.
• Utilize the MEDHOST EMR system.
• Collaborate with a support staff of 5 RNs and 1 PA/NP.
