About The Position
CHI St. Vincent Infirmary is seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physicians to join a stable, diverse, Physician led group. CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, a faith-based, not-for-profit facility boasting in excess of 600 licensed beds, delivers critical healthcare services statewide to all 75 counties of Arkansas. Notably, the Infirmary has received commendation from U.S. News and World Report, being recognized as both a "Best High Performing" and "Best Regional" hospital. The Emergency Department has an annual volume of up to 35,000 visits and offers excellent provider coverage with 40 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of MLP coverage. The physician to patient ratio is 1.7 patients/hour. Shifts are equally distributed between night and weekend shifts. The department is equipped with bedside ultrasound, digital radiography, fiber-optic scopes, GlideScope, and much more. It is a Level II Trauma Center.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Arkansas State Medical License.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department.
- Manage an annual patient volume of up to 35,000 visits.
- Collaborate with a team of physicians and Medical/Physician Assistants (MLPs).
- Utilize advanced medical equipment including bedside ultrasound, digital radiography, fiber-optic scopes, and GlideScope.
- Share equally in night and weekend shifts.
