About The Position

St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our dynamic Emergency Department. The Emergency Department is a 287-bed facility in downtown Passaic with ~30,000–35,000 annual ED visits. It offers fast access to specialty support including cardiology, critical care, OB, and ortho, and has Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center designations. Patient flow is efficient, supported by an in-house hospitalist team. The EMR system is Epic (or Cerner, depending on implementation timing).

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active or eligible New Jersey medical license
• Current DEA and CDS certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Strong communication skills and team-first mentality
