About The Position

TeamHealth is seeking ABEM certified or eligible EM physicians for flexible travel assignments through our HIT travel team program at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights and Seton Medical Center- FSED in Texas. This is a high-paying travel opportunity with flexible scheduling. The Seton Medical Center Harker Heights emergency department is a TeamHealth-managed Level IV Trauma Center with approximately 48,000 annual ED visits and a 17-bed ED plus fast track, utilizing EPIC EMR with 10-hour physician shifts and 40 physician hours daily, alongside 40 APC hours daily. The Seton Medical Center Harker Heights South Campus is a brand-new freestanding emergency department, expected to open February 2027, located in the rapidly growing Belton/Salado corridor. This modern facility is designed to expand emergency care access throughout the region and offers direct transfer pathways to the affiliated hospital when specialty consultation, admission, or higher-acuity care is needed, with single physician coverage and 24-hour shifts, projected to see approximately 25 patients per day.

Requirements

• ABEM certified or eligible required.
• Minimum of 4 shifts/month commitment.
• 1099 independent contractor status.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care as an ABEM certified or eligible physician.
• Work flexible travel assignments at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights and Seton Medical Center- FSED in Texas.
• Commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system.
• Work 10-hour physician shifts at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights.
• Provide single physician coverage for 24-hour shifts at the Seton Medical Center Harker Heights South Campus.
