About The Position
Roane Medical Center is seeking an emergency medicine nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join their collaborative and supportive team. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician looking to return to emergency medicine from urgent care, or for an EM clinician seeking a practice environment that offers both professional fulfillment and work-life balance. Located in East Tennessee, Roane Medical Center combines the advantages of a community hospital with easy access to Knoxville, outdoor recreation, and the Great Smoky Mountains. The department expansion will introduce additional APC coverage Monday through Wednesday, creating increased flexibility and support. This is a community-focused setting where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Requirements
- Current Tennessee NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
Nice To Haves
- Emergency medicine experience preferred
- Recent urgent care experience and prior emergency exposure
