The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking faculty members at the Assistant and Associate Professor ranks to provide clinical care, education, research, mentorship, and service within the department. Faculty members will provide high-quality clinical care in Emergency Medicine, ensuring appropriate clinical coverage and care that meets established standards of practice. Responsibilities will include teaching in clinical settings, contributing to educational programs in Emergency Medicine, and developing and delivering educational content within their area of expertise. The successful candidate will engage in scholarly activities, including developing independent, externally funded research programs, collaborating with faculty at Yale and other institutions on research initiatives and academic projects, and contributing to advancements in the field of Emergency Medicine. Faculty will also provide mentorship to Yale medical students and residents, supporting their development and involvement in academic and research projects. Additional responsibilities include participation in departmental administrative activities and service efforts that support the mission of the Department of Emergency Medicine. Candidates will enter at the Assistant/Associate level, commensurate with experience and credentials. Candidates must be residency-trained and board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine.
