About The Position
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a crucial role in providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need. This position requires a high level of professionalism, compassion, and medical expertise to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during critical situations. At Baptist Health La Grange, EMS operate both as hospital transport and within the 911 services system of Oldham County. Requirements
- EMT-B certification required through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
- Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in need.
- Transport patients requiring emergency medical care.
