About The Position

This role involves providing support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients both on the scene of an emergency and during transport. The EMT will arrive at emergency scenes, assess the situation, and develop a plan of action. They will utilize appropriate medical equipment, comprehend the severity of injuries, monitor patient conditions, and collect data. Findings and patient status will be communicated to a primary Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Drivers License credentialed from the Tennessee Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Division obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Or Emergency Medical Tech-Basic (EMT-B) required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities
