The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor will be responsible for teaching foundational EMT skills and managing a safe learning environment. This role involves demonstrating and supervising hands-on and scenario-based training aligned with national and industry standards. The instructor will also prepare lesson plans and instructional materials, assess student progress, maintain lab equipment, and support the development of student employability skills. The position requires the ability to teach through various mediums, including in-person, web-based, or hybrid formats, and to communicate subject matter effectively to diverse learning styles. Additionally, the instructor must maintain effective record-keeping and provide assistance in ancillary educational programs as needed. Employment is contingent upon passing a background screening and obtaining a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
