Emergency Medical Technician
About The Position
Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and organization policies and procedures. Requirements
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
- Basic - Interpersonal skills
- Basic - Communication skills
- Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
Nice To Haves
- Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
