Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic
About The Position
Emergency Medical Technician Paramedics are responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to the sick and injured, and for continuing to provide ALS medical services until responsibility for patient care can be assumed by hospital authorities. Requirements
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Pre-Hospital Care Program - Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Level
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Communication skills
- Advanced Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at ACP/EMT-P
Nice To Haves
- Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
