About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Current EMT certification.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work weekend shifts.
Ability to bend, sit, kneel, lift up to 125 pounds, and push or pull objects over 50 pounds.
Physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments.
Ability to tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance.
Ability to perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations.

Responsibilities

Administer basic life support treatments within the EMT scope.
Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles in compliance with applicable laws.
Deliver competent patient care in various settings and apply EMS procedures in practical situations.
Interact professionally with healthcare personnel.
Accurately document information in the charting system.
Assist fellow EMS providers and provide comprehensive reports.
Maintain equipment, keep it clean, and restock supplies.
Follow company and local agency policies and protocols.
Maintain a clean appearance and demonstrate professional, ethical behavior.
