MedTrust, an MMT Ambulance Company, is hiring a full-time EMT in the Charleston/Hanahan, South Carolina area to provide interfacility ambulance transportation for healthcare partners. The EMT delivers basic life support and patient care in various settings, operates and maintains emergency vehicles, follows applicable laws and EMS protocols, and works professionally with healthcare personnel and fellow EMS providers. The role also includes accurate charting, reporting, equipment upkeep, and maintaining a professional appearance and ethical conduct.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Current EMT certification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment.
• Ability to bend, sit, kneel, lift up to 125 pounds, and push or pull objects over 50 pounds.
• Physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments.
• Ability to tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance.
• Ability to perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations.

Responsibilities
