About The Position

MedTrust, an MMT Ambulance Company, is hiring a full-time EMT to provide interfacility ambulance patient transportation for healthcare partners in the Grand Strand and South Myrtle Beach area. The EMT delivers basic life support and competent patient care in various settings, operates and maintains emergency vehicles, follows EMS procedures and applicable protocols, and works professionally with healthcare personnel and fellow EMS providers. The role also involves accurate documentation, equipment upkeep, cleanliness, and supply restocking.

MMT describes itself as an ambulance transportation provider with more than 35 years of experience. It uses AI-powered technology and state-of-the-art dispatch centers to support efficient operations and patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Current EMT certification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely operate EMS vehicles and essential equipment.
• Ability to bend, sit, kneel, lift up to 125 lbs, and push or pull objects over 50 lbs.
• Physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments.
• Ability to tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance.
• Ability to perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations.
