About The Position

The Ascension St. Vincent Critical Care Transport (CCT) team, accredited by CAMTS, offers safe, quality, evidence-based, ICU-level transport for adult, neonatal, pediatric, and maternal fetal patients using industry-leading equipment. You will gain in-house education (PHTLS, AMLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS, EVOC, Audit and Review, NRP) on a rolling calendar, allowing affiliated EMTs and Paramedics to use in-house Medical Directors for re-certification. You will be a key member of a multidisciplinary ground transport team, providing direct care to patients in intra-facility, and inter-facility settings. Maintaining reports and records and upholding confidentiality and supporting patient/family rights, and serving as a patient advocate.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Emergency Medical Tech specializing in ER Vehicle Operation credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC), or Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) credentialed from Coaching Systems required.
  • Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience preferred.
