About The Position

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center (AESC) is hiring an Emergency (ER) Veterinarian to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, VMD or equivalent
• Active veterinary license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain – we cover state licensure transfer fees)
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for exceptional animal care
• Effective collaborator
• Must work a minimum average of 33 hours per week to be considered full-time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in emergency medicine is preferred

• Collaborate daily with board-certified specialists
• Participate in case discussions
• Continue developing your emergency medicine skills through hands-on mentorship and continuing education
• Practice advanced emergency medicine alongside board-certified specialists in a collaborative environment
