About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, working 24 hours per week. The role requires working every other weekend and holiday requirements. The applicant could be cross-trained to other departments within the facility.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
• Current BLS Certification required
• 3 to 5 years of Emergency Room experience
• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position
• ACLS certification required within six months of transition/hire
• PALS certification required within one year of transition/hire
• Hazmat training required
• Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course required within six months

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Previous critical care experience preferred
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred
• TNCC certification encouraged

Responsibilities

• Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
• All other duties as assigned
