Emergency Department Technician
About The Position
Performs functions as delegated by the RN according to the Nurse Practice Act and as noted in the following job description for the critical care tech. Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an EMT-B program required
- IV Therapy Certification required (IV Certification is not required for positions located in Utah)
- BLS (AHA) required
Nice To Haves
- One year of healthcare experience (pre-hospital or ED or patient care) preferred.
- EKG Certification preferred
