About The Position

The main campus ED in Zanesville is a Level III Trauma Center and has 38 beds with 2 trauma bays and is in the top 10 of busiest ED's in Ohio. Assignment is 36 hours/week, Rotating evening shift schedule. Could be scheduled either 3PM to 3:30AM or 3PM to 7PM. Every other weekend is required, along with holiday rotation. Requests for excessive RTO around the holidays will not be approved. Taking call is not expected and should be a rare request.

Requirements

• Completed at least 3 ED assignments and/or have 3 years of current/recent ED experience.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Competency with Epic EMR is required.

Nice To Haves

• TNCC strongly preferred.
• ENPC strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department.
• Work a 36-hour week with rotating evening shifts.
• Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care.
