Emergency Department Registered Nurse
About The Position
Jefferson Health is hiring a Staff Nurse to provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation. The nurse performs procedures within the nursing scope of practice, administers medications safely and assesses patient responses, and participates in reviewing or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination. This is a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week on rotating shifts. The position is based at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, 111 S 11th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- State-issued RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of RN experience.
- CEN, CCRN, proof of ECCO (Essentials of Critical Care), or signing an adult Critical Care Course agreement with a two-year work commitment.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
