This position provides emergency communications services and support to the Virginia Department of Military Affairs Emergency Services Section. Key areas of focus include receiving, processing, and coordinating emergency response to a geographical area, and providing positive customer service to staff, visitors, and other personnel as needed. This position is identified as a critical component in Emergency Services as the initial contact for requesting those services. Telework for this position is only allowed during emergencies.
