About The Position

Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking a full-time Radiologist to read evening emergency department and inpatient work. This position is for expansion due to increased volume and is eligible for remote work. The evening radiologist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeast’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing interpretations in conjunction with trainees. The primary clinical scope will involve chest and abdominal imaging, though candidates can read other emergency imaging exams if they prefer. A separate evening neuroradiologist will handle neuroradiology work. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, function well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and work collaboratively. They should also be prepared to participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision. Opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work are available for additional salary.

Requirements

ABR Board-certified/eligible
Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
Strong clinical skills
Ability to function in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting
Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
