About The Position

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Radiologist to read evening emergency department and inpatient work. This position is an expansion due to increased volume and is eligible for remote work. The evening radiologist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeast’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing interpretations in conjunction with trainees. The primary clinical scope will involve chest and abdominal imaging, with the option to read other emergency imaging exams if preferred, as a separate evening neuroradiologist will handle neuroradiology work. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, function well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and collaborate effectively. They will also participate in clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision, with opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for extra salary.
