About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Emerald Floor Attendant. In this role, you will deliver a luxury-level guest experience for Emerald Floor guests by maintaining the Emerald Lounge, coordinating personalized guest services, and ensuring all Emerald Floor areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality. This position works closely with Valet, Guest Services, and Housekeeping teams to provide seamless service and memorable experiences for VIP guests. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere that exceeds guest expectations. You’ll support operational excellence through strong teamwork and communication across departments.

Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of guest service.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform light lifting, stocking, and cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospitality, guest service, food and beverage, or luxury service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, personalized service to all Emerald Floor guests.
  • Wear and monitor a radio and earpiece throughout the shift to maintain communication with Valet, Guest Services, and Housekeeping.
  • Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, special requests, and VIP amenities with internal departments.
  • Maintain the Emerald Lounge to ensure it is clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Create and deliver personalized guest touches, including welcome notes, birthday cards, anniversary recognitions, and other special occasion amenities.
  • Assist with housekeeping-related tasks, including room inspections, amenity deliveries, linen requests, and preparing rooms for VIP arrivals.
  • Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, dining options, attractions, and events to assist guests with recommendations and requests.
