About The Position

Caring Therapists, a group private practice in Florida, is seeking part-time and/or full-time EMDR psychotherapists to join our practice in Davie. We are a collaborative group of therapists with offices across several Florida locations. We are specifically looking for an EMDR specialist for our Davie office who is passionate about mental health and can enhance our positive-minded group of clinicians. We provide a steady stream of referrals and a supportive clinical environment.

Requirements

Fully licensed as a Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida
1-year post-independent licensure experience, preferably with private practice
Registered with CAQH
Willingness to be paneled with insurance companies
Must have a niche(s) (children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc.)
Availability to work evenings (4pm-8pm)
Works with children, ages 4-18 and/or couples
Willing to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Willing to work 15 hours per week or more, 30 or more for full time status
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to build rapport quickly
Detail-oriented
Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy
Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Proficient in Office products, Excel and Google documents, use of Electronic Medical Records
Demonstrated ability to work well with professional colleagues, as well as those providing administrative support
Entrepreneurial and growth mindset
Master's or Doctorate degree
Clinical Psychologist, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW. Registered Interns and Postdoctoral candidates are also welcome to apply.

Nice To Haves

Postdoctoral Candidates in Psychology, Registered for Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, and Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern encouraged to apply.
Minimum 1-year post-independent licensure is a plus
Paneled with insurance is a plus
Prior private practice experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, evidenced-based treatment, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
Involve and advise family members when appropriate
Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary
Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress
Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality
Maintain proper licenses, certifications and follow professional guidelines, ethical standards
Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Collaborate with Caring Therapists administrative staff and management to exceed best practices and grow our organization
