About The Position
We are always on the lookout for detail-oriented EMC Engineers to perform efficient and quality testing, and provide exceptional customer service for a third-party testing laboratory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or a similar field; or Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- At least 3 years hands-on experience in EMC Testing, with strong Wireless Testing background that covers Bluetooth, WiFi in all of the 802.11 protocols, Zigbee, Cellular, LoRA, etc.
- Strong communications skills and the ability to work with customers
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with common applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RF is a major plus
Responsibilities
- Perform EMC testing in the laboratory and at client premises, and performing other tests as assigned
- Report on the measurements performed
- Provide consultant services to clients with EMC testing and design needs
- Research updates to testing standards and communicating the changes to other staff
- Work closely with Senior Management on continuous improvement of EMC operations
