About The Position

The Embroidery Specialist at Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa helps increase retail sales by adding a customized personal touch to merchandise. The associate assists guests with merchandise selection and completes sales transactions. The role also involves operating and maintaining embroidery equipment and software, caring for the shop and its displays, providing product assistance, and following established sales, cash-handling, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous embroidery experience.
• Familiarity with embroidery Pulse software.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to stand for the length of the shift.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate embroidery equipment and software to create product designs.
• Create and edit designs on the embroidery machine.
• Convert designs from electronic formats to embroidery formats.
• Maintain the embroidery machine and the surrounding area.
• Sell merchandise to guests and assist with merchandise selection.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, arrange proper displays, and place new merchandise on the sales floor.
• Affix accurate prices to merchandise using stamps, tags, labels, or similar methods.
• Provide suggestions, information, and other assistance to customers as requested.
• Maintain substantial knowledge of products in the assigned store and general knowledge of merchandise in other retail outlets on the property.
• Record sales and other transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Accept payments and make change as necessary, following established accounting procedures.
• Clean shelves, counters, tables, fixtures, glass, and floors continuously.
• Observe safety precautions and procedures to help maintain a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.
• Adhere to cash-handling policies.
