About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite production role where you will bring designs to life on t-shirts. The work is active, steady, and hands-on. Lakeshirts offers a clear career path with on-the-job training, cross training, career levels, and advancement opportunities. Night-shift team members start at $22 per hour with opportunities to earn $29 per hour. High performers can advance, with some moving up in as little as 90 days.

Requirements

High school education desirable, but not required.
Positive attitude & self-motivated
Ability to work well in a team.
Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours.
Ability to be stand for 8-10 hours a day.
Employee must be able to see and hear, read and write.
Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, judgment, reading, speaking, following direction, handling multiple priorities, reasoning.

Nice To Haves

Previous production or sewing experience preferred, but not required.
Microsoft Word, Doc and Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze orders to identify design and determine thread colors
Change embroidery machine threads, including threading needles
Attach hoops to the garments
Access order specifications through computer spreadsheets
Navigate through computer programs to process garment order on embroidery and/or laser machine
Operate embroidery machine computer and laser machine
Verify quality and quantity of the clothing and embroidery
Maintain Zephyr & Lakeshirts acceptable standard of quality per garment
Communicate with, or walk to, inventory area to gather replacement garments as needed
Keep work area clean and orderly
Organize work flow
Follow safety practices. Identify problems and work to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
Work actively with others to get the job done
