About The Position

This role is for an Embroidery Machine Operator, specialized as a seamstress with experience in alterations. The position involves operating sewing machines for tasks such as sleeve shortening, pant hemming, crest application, garment repair, and alteration. The operator will apply appropriate logos based on customer requests and adjust colors and threads as needed. A key part of the role is quality control, which includes reviewing documentation to ensure work orders match available logos and meet quality standards. The operator must identify and address any issues with garments or embellishment results promptly. This position also involves cross-training in other embellishment areas like embroidery, heat seal, digital, silk screen, and embossing. Flexible hours are available to support business needs.

Requirements

Sewing machine experience with sleeve shortening, pant hemming, crest application, garment repair and alteration.
Ability to apply appropriate logo based on embellishment type as requested by the customer.
Ability to adjust colors and threads as required.
Ability to review documentation to ensure work order matches available logo and is of approved quality.
Ability to identify issues with garments or embellishment results and take appropriate action immediately.
Willingness to learn is a necessity.
Capacity to cross-train and cover as needed.
Strong English comprehension and communication.
Ability to work full-time day shift (6:30am - 3pm).
