About The Position

This position involves operating the Embrex machine, transferring trays of eggs, and managing egg flats. The role requires maintaining cleanliness of the machines and work area, operating mechanical equipment, and adhering to all safety and hygiene procedures. The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential job functions within 20 days and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to stand for the entire shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various environmental conditions.

Requirements

Must be able to reach six (6) feet high with both hands.
Must have worked 6 months out of the last 12.
Must be able to perform essential job functions to standard within 20 days.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in a cold, hot, wet, and humid environment.
Must observe all required hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
Must be able to stand for entire shift.
Job requires bending, lifting, twisting, and turning.
Work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Transfer trays of eggs through Embrex machine.
Restack basket into hatchers.
Retrieve egg flats from Embrex machine and return empty egg flats in appropriate storage.
Clean machines, following established guidelines and keep hallway clean using pressure hoses and foam.
Operate mechanical equipment.
Handle broken eggs and dispose of properly.
Follow all safety procedures at all times.
Work with other Embrex team members.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Perform essential job functions to standard within 20 days.
Work flexible hours.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Work in a cold, hot, wet, and humid environment.
Observe all required hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
Stand for entire shift.
Perform bending, lifting, twisting, and turning.
