About The Position

Operate or tend sewing machines to sew/adhere emblems onto garments. This role involves reviewing paperwork for daily orders, including details such as quantity, colors, emblem logo, shape, and size. The position requires placing spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, inserting bobbins, and threading ends through machine guides. You will position items under needles using guides and guide garments or garment parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew labels into garments. Working at a fast pace to ensure daily production goals are met is essential. Other duties may be requested.

Requirements

• Ability to work closely with other people.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Punctual and have a positive work attitude.
• Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
• Detail oriented.
• Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.

Responsibilities

• Place spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components.
• Position items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides.
• Guide garments or garment parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew labels into garment.
• Work at a fast pace to ensure daily production goal is met.
• Perform other duties as requested.
