This is an on-site role in Albuquerque, New Mexico. About the Role: Embedded Systems Engineer • Design and implement RTL and software for embedded devices, embedded processors, and systems from requirements to prototype, production, and deployment • Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources • Interface with hardware design and development • Document design process and the resulting system, as well as report system results • Support customers in the integration and deployment of the systems • Develop hardware design (schematic, PCB) and participate in design reviews.

Requirements

BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience as an embedded systems engineer with experience with Verilog for synthesis and simulation
Significant experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meters, etc.)
Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
Experience programming microcontrollers and other applications
Experience with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
Proven ability to read schematics and component data sheets
Strong experience in FPGA design flow (synthesis, simulation, debugging) using LiberoSoc and Vivado, synthesis, and simulation
Experience with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
Strong desire to work with hardware and experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design tools
