In this role you will design, develop, integrate and test software for our end-user customers and businesses, primarily focused on cryptographic software code bases. Specifically, you will be responsible for the design, architecture, development, and administration of embedded and real time systems. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, such as with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test, in an Agile software development environment. You will analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls. This position is contingent upon program award, clearance and customer approval. This requisition may be filled at either a Engineer or Principal Embedded Engineer

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline AND 2 years of experience in a related field; or a Maters Degree with 0 Years of experience (for Engineer)
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline AND 5 Years of experience in a related field; or 3 Years of Experience with a Masters; or 1 years of experience with a PhD (for Principal Engineer)
Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government Secret clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) as determined by business needs

Nice To Haves

An active U.S. government Secret clearance or higher (with background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
Proficient in C/C++
Proficient in Object Oriented programming
Proficient in all areas of the formal software lifecycle process from requirements to testing
Experience integrating low-level firmware and software in complex real-time multi-threaded embedded applications
Experience with developing and debugging embedded real-time systems.
Experience using Jira/Bitbucket/Git and the Agile software development process
Familiarity with HAIPE, OTNK, and/or IKE
Experience implementing cryptographic mechanisms using dedicated software libraries
Experience with Xilinx platforms (Zynq, Ultrascale+ and VERSAL)
Experience with TCP/IP and common network configurations
Familiarity with Link 16/TACAN Waveform Standard Documents
Experience in testing and troubleshooting Link16 waveform in an embedded software environment
Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Tactical Datalink radios/terminals
Familiarity with Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA)
Experience with Software Defined Radios
