Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related experience (for Embedded Software Engineer)
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related experience (for Principal Embedded Software Engineer)
Must be a US Citizen in order to meet the security clearance requirement
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company
Experience with Agile, Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket and working in cross-functional Scrum team
Object Oriented Software Design and Common Design Patterns
Data Structures and Memory Mapping
Experience in software development using languages such as Embedded C/C++, Python, Docker (for Embedded Software Engineer)
Experience in software development using languages such as C/C++, Python, Docker (for Principal Embedded Software Engineer)

Nice To Haves

Current and active Secret security clearance with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.
Real-Time Operating Systems & Green Hills:
Green Hills INTEGRITY RTOS: Experience with INTEGRITY-178, including task management, partitioning, and resource allocation.
Green Hills MULTI IDE: Experience with MULTI IDE for debugging, tracing, and profiling on target hardware.
Understanding of RMS scheduling for RTOS

Responsibilities

Design, develop, operate and maintain software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific and manufacturing requirements.
Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, aircraft flight control and display systems, pacemakers, defibrillators, mechanical and electrical systems.
Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.
