About The Position

This role is responsible for executing engineering tasks, including refining existing embedded software code, defining and developing security, communication, and error handling software. The developer will perform code reviews, correct static analysis errors, and update/create unit tests to achieve 100% statement and branch coverage. They will deliver code to GitHub repositories using pull requests, update design documentation, and collaborate with the Embedded Software and Electrical teams to implement toolbox test commands for board and product level testing. The role also involves correcting issues found during reviews and testing, and collaborating across disciplines (Mechanical, Software, Systems, Experience Design, Design Transfer, Quality, Regulatory, Contract design firms, Contract manufacturing firms & Contract test house) to achieve project and program goals. The developer must meet program schedule and deliverable goals, provide status following the SAFe agile model, stay current on assigned trainings, and document activities and results. A contribution to dFMEA is also expected.

Requirements

  • BE/B Tech Electrical/ECE Software Engineering or Equivalent
