About The Position

As an Embedded Software Architect for Airborne Systems, you'll partner with business, program, customer, and technology leaders to define practical technical paths that enable delivery of customer commitments. You will establish and guide embedded software architectures, technology roadmaps, and model-based design approaches that help teams develop capable, sustainable solutions across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated success developing and evolving embedded software architectures for real-time, safety-critical, or high-reliability systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to explain technical tradeoffs, influence decisions, and secure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Creative problem solver who turns ambiguous customer and technology challenges into actionable, technically sound plans.
