About The Position

E-Logic is hiring an Embedded IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support within Michigan Municipal Facilities. This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you'll support day-to-day IT operations across multiple city departments. Local travel between city facilities is required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT Support / Helpdesk / Desktop Support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware/software issues
  • Familiar with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in government or public sector IT
  • Knowledge of networking basics (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems (3CX or similar)
  • Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam)
  • Exposure to cybersecurity tools (EDR, antivirus)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 IT support (in-person + remote)
  • Troubleshoot workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, VoIP systems, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot software and network connectivity issues
  • Set up and deploy new devices (PCs, laptops, tablets)
  • Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Manage and track IT assets and inventory
  • Maintain and update helpdesk tickets (SLA-driven environment)
  • Support infrastructure issues and escalate when needed
  • Assist with after-hours support and city meetings/events (as needed)
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams
