Embedded C++ Software Engineer (5808) (Broomfield, CO) (Abil to obtain Secret)

Space Programs•Broomfield, CO
•$160,000 - $210,000

About The Position

Outside Analytics, a subsidiary of SMX, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with a strong C++ background to join its mission data processing team. The role supports remote sensing systems across airborne, ground-based, and orbital environments, including real-time data processing, sensor data processing, and data visualization. The engineer will develop and optimize high-reliability, high-performance C++ applications, including real-time embedded applications, and make design tradeoffs for constrained size, weight, and power (SWaP) systems. The position involves working directly with remote sensing data and customers in a dynamic environment with substantial individual responsibility. The engineer will collaborate with Solutions Architects and Algorithm Engineers, work with remote sensing data providers, contribute to signal-processing architecture, and engineer solutions for low-SWaP deployments such as Versal ACAP devices. Work must be designed, documented, and tested, with quality supported through CI/CD pipelines and applicable corporate and DoD processes and standards. The position is based in Broomfield, Colorado. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance. The proposed salary range is $160,000–$210,000 USD. The company mentions health insurance, paid leave, retirement, and learning and development opportunities.
