About The Position
This position is for an Embarkation/Mobility Specialist (Senior) located at Camp Lejeune, NC. The role involves planning and executing air, sea, rail, and ground movements for a special operations command. The specialist will be responsible for unit embarkation and strategic mobility, data validation, load planning, hazardous materials documentation, coordination with movement control and lift providers, and advising on mobility policy and deployment readiness. The position requires an active SECRET clearance.
Requirements
- 8+ years in unit embarkation and strategic mobility planning.
- Current HAZMAT certification (IATA / 49 CFR / IMDG as applicable).
- Proficiency in JOPES, ICODES, and IGC.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- USMC embarkation background.
- TPFDD development experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate unit embarkation and strategic mobility across all modes.
- Build and validate deployment data in JOPES, ICODES, and IGC.
- Prepare load plans and hazardous-materials shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with installation movement control and lift providers.
- Advise on mobility policy and deployment readiness.
- Support exercises and real-world moves.
