Requirements

  • Honestly, we don’t require a ton.
  • Ever sent an email to a supporter’s email list?
  • Used MailChimp or Constant Contact?
  • That’s awesome.
  • Formatted some HTML or sent a political email via Iterable or SalesForce Marketing Cloud?
  • Even better.
  • But really, it’s also okay if you haven’t.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire process: you’ll manage email marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Work with copywriters to gather new content.
  • Make sure emails are built properly with strong personalization, proper proofing, and testing.
  • When ready – code, test, and deploy emails using our partner email service providers, and then report back on success metrics.
  • Be a collaborative team player: we don’t work in silos.
  • You’ll get to work with teammates throughout the company to coordinate email sending with team members, clients, data partners, and other vendors.
  • Our clients need to hit at the right times with the right message to take advantage of the critical moments in the news cycle – and you’ll be at the forefront of making that happen.
  • Follow best practices: we’re never content with the status quo.
  • You’ll be hands on with the rest of the team, relentlessly innovating to ensure our emails get into inboxes and raise money for our clients.
  • Working alongside our technical team you’ll gain valuable skills in troubleshooting technical challenges with email service providers and ensuring email engagement metrics (e.g. opens, clicks, interactions, etc.) are through the roof.
