Community Services for Children is seeking a proactive, detailed, tech savvy, and customer-focused professional for a new opportunity as the ELRC Allentown Works Program Coordinator . This position supervises the daily activities of the ELRC Allentown Works grant in accordance with CSC’s mission, vision, and values. The Program Coordinator collaborates with external partners and is responsible for the direct supervision of CSC’s Allentown Works activities, and reports to the Director of ELRC Service Systems. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in case management or early childhood setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, social work, or related field.
  • Proven organizational/data management, recording, and reporting skills.
  • Expertise in computer management systems such as Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new databases and systems as needed.
  • Professional interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong oral and written communication.
  • Valid driver’s license and full-time use of vehicle, or reliable transportation to community locations as required.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a sustainable Coordinated Care Network among childcare providers in the Allentown Works service area.
  • Surveys providers and conducts focus groups to determine interest, and establishes a provider work group for the development of long-term shared services.
  • Coordinates activities across Allentown Works grant responsibilities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration internally and externally.
  • Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data to create grant reports.
  • Oversees Allentown Works subsidy program budget and monitors spending on a weekly basis.
  • Ensures seamless transition between Allentown Works subsidy funding and Child Care Works funding through communication and collaboration with ELRC staff/management.
  • Schedules and coordinates outreach events in Allentown Works targeted neighborhoods.
  • Manages the implementation of Keystone STAR movement cohorts in conjunction with the Support Coach, ELRC Quality Coaches, and Provider Services Manager.
  • Supervises the ELRC Allentown Works Specialist and ELRC Allentown Works Support Coach, ensuring all work complies with grant requirements.
  • Participates in and assists in coordinating Allentown Works partner meetings and activities as well as staff meetings, ongoing professional development, agency administrative meetings, individual supervision, and other required events.
