Running Creek Casino has been offering guests a full-service gaming destination in a vineyard setting along the historic Highway 20 corridor of Upper Lake, California since 2012. We are hiring an Elite Casino Host to be responsible for creating and developing one-on-one relationships with our high-value guests to strengthen guest loyalty, increase guest satisfaction with their casino experience, and develop guests into profitable customers. The Casino Host must be able to work closely with personnel from all departments, assist in developing marketing strategies, track assigned players, and prepare reports on volume of play, win/loss, time played, average bet, comp amounts etc, and host and/or attend on/off site events. THIS POSITION REQUIRES EVENING AND WEEKEND WORK IN ADDITION TO DAYTIME, WITH A PREFERRED TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY WORK WEEK.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 21 years of age
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Excellent phone skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Guest service orientation
- Good computer knowledge and skills
- Basic math skills
- Able to maintain complete Guest and Casino confidentiality
- Able to multitask in an orderly and professional manner while maintaining an attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work and cooperate with with all departments
- Able to prioritize tasks
- Able to follow directions
- Must be flexible with work schedule.
- Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs.
- Must have dependable transportation available to them.
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and be insurable on our company’s policy throughout your time of employment with the Casino.

Responsibilities
- Determine Guest worthiness when awarding Guest comps
- Occasionally dine with Guest off property
- Host off property events
- Represent the Casino at company sponsored and non-company sponsored events
- Be available to Guests needs at all times, including carrying a cell phone to receive calls from Guests
- Be available for offsite events
- Know and be able to convey all ongoing promotions and events
- Access Guest personal and play information
- Create monthly reports on Guests visits and play
- Develop knowledge of Guests personal preferences and patterns
- Dress in an appropriate business/casual fashion
- Always remember that you represent Running Creek Casino and will act accordingly both on and off property
